Weekend Guest

Nicole had asked her Science teacher if she could take home the class hamster a few weeks ago. Mrs. Zahorski said that she could take home “Bear” for the weekend. So we had a guest for the weekend. Bear came with his cage which had tunnels to his bed on top, several platforms and tubes and of course, his squirrel cage. We also got his exercise ball and a hamster book. Bear survived his weekend at the Leung house. He spent a lot of time rolling around the floor in his exercise ball and marking his territory. Hamsters are supposed to be nocturnal, but Bear did not keep Nicole or Timothy up at night. In fact, Bear spent a lot of time napping
