Couchie V3

1464

We recently re-upholstered our eight foot couch. This will be the third incarnation of the couch which was brought into the Leung family in the early 70’s. We had it re-upholstered during our tour in Bahrain in the mid 90’s where the labor was inexpensive, and this time by Mr. Kyu Cho, who lives in rural Virginia. Mr. Cho runs his business from his home and is the embodiment of the American Dream. A friend had recommended him and he is not short of work in this economic downturn. His focus is on repairing and re-upholstering old couches. While he has fabric swatches that customers may use to order material, many of them bring their own fabric from chains such as Jo Ann Fabrics or Calico Corner. If you live in the local area and desire his contact information, just pop me an email. For me, I can’t wait to go downstairs and take a nap on this eight foot couch…I just need to figure out how to keep Timothy from using it as a trampoline!
