Word Press is not very intuitive. As part of my user testing, I am placing installed widgets in the left column (sidebar). The right column contains the default items from the Word Press 2.9 installation. Other changes that need to be completed:

Gallery photo uploader, either Windows Gallery print/publish, or Java Virtual Machine client
update a number of image headers to rotate with seasons
update and delete Word Press pages, along top row
customize title and logo
remove recent posts from sidebar
reinstall Google Analytics
