After spending 7-1/2 hours at the hospital, we were finally able to take Nicole home. The doctor said that everything was as he expected and the only complications she had was some nausea related to the anesthesia and nasal drip and bleeding. She has been sleeping most of the time and has only been awake to go to the potty.
We thank all our friends and families for your prayers and thoughts. This has really meant a lot to us. We will know in the next few weeks if the operation was a success. Below are a few pictures pre and post op.
Before going in, Nicole was hungry! The staff at this hospital was really great and understood the needs of the parents as well as the child.
