Spring!

Finally, we move on to better weather! Apologies for the late post, we’ve had competition with our interest in Facebook. Recently, Monica took the kids to the Tidal Basin to look at the Cherry Blossoms. They have fallen off by now but were fantastic. Occasionally, I take a shortcut near the Tidal Basin on my way home from work. That particular evening was packed with locals enjoying the blossoms and paddling out into the basin. Our own Cherry Tree had fantastic blooms this year, unfortunately, they didn’t last long and the rain has knocked all the blossoms off for now. We are looking forward to the rest of spring and the summer. Please not the count-down clock on the right to Samantha’s Bat Mitzvah which will be on October 3rd. We have confirmed a location in Alexandria and Stephanie will be sending out a “save the date” invitation soon.
