Timothy has been practicing with the South County Colts as part of the Fairfax County Youth Football program. Today they got to scrimmage against their fellow team. He is currently playing half-back on the Ankle Biters team. Look for number 35!

All of us came together again after 30 years in Orlando, Florida at the Caribe Royale. We had such a great time. It was great to be with Renee, Marci, Wendy, and Sandy. Friday night’s cocktails was a hit but catching up at the pool was a winner. The boys did their rendition of Y-M-C-A, we all did the Electric Slide, and we Boogie Woogied until we just couldn’t Boogie no more. Thanks to the coordination team lead by Shannon it was Fab!

After many years of visiting the Daytona area, we finally took a tour of the track via the NASCAR Experience. There were many interactive exhibits as well as the tram tour of the track and infield itself. In this video, Nicole is the tire swapper while I move the lugs off and on the tire. We were close to the record for that day which was 17.1 seconds.

Leungs in the Winners Circle

We took our annual vacation a little early this year in order to make it to Stephanie’s 30th High School Reunion. Rather than drive straight to central Florida, we stopped along the way for a night in Savannah Georgia. We then took a leisurely drive to Daytona Beach where we spent the next three relaxing nights. We were even able to get a tour in of the the Daytona International Speedway (separate post). We spent the final three nights in Orlando for the reunion. During this vacation we got to celebrate two birthdays, Stephanie’s 39th birthday in Daytona and Orlando, and Nicole’s birthday at the Kobe steakhouse.

Nicole swam in only one event this Saturday, the breast stroke. She was able to take third place! Timothy also swam: Backstroke, Butterfly, and Medley Relay where he swam one of the freestyle legs. We hope you enjoy the video!

The life of a Dancer

For part of the winter and most of the spring, Nicole has been actively involved in a local dance studio production based on a popular Disney movie. This involved regular rehearsals throughout the school year and intense rehearsals near the end of the year just before the productions. These rehearsals where usually about four hours on a Friday Evening followed by all day rehearsals on both Saturday and Sunday. Nicole will tell you it was well worth the effort as she learned a lot from the professionals running the show. An Afternoon with the Nationals

As a season ticket holder to the Washington Nationals baseball team, Aunt Sharon is entitled to a few perks. One of these is fan appreciation day and Timothy was fortunate that she invited him to share the afternoon with her. The afternoon included food and a behind the scenes look at the Nationals Stadium, about four blocks from where I work. The picture at right is with 3rd Baseman, Ryan Zimmerman, also known as the franchise player for the Nationals.
